Episode 6: Bookstart Denbighshire

You wait for weeks for a new DCP episode then two come along at once!  Hot on the tails of the Pobl i Bobl / Amnesty International episode we are very pleased to release our 6th episode.  In episode 6 the DCP team speak to the Denbighshire Bookstart staff and organisers to learn more about these brilliant sessions that offer every baby an opportunity to learn, read and become library members. 

Episodes 5 & 6 were both developed and produced in Corwen, Denbigh and Rhyl with the kind support of Denbighshire Library Services. A massive thank you to Bethan and the Libraries Team from everyone at DCP and all our listeners for your support.

Episode 5: Pobl i Bobl / Amnesty International

We are very honored to have as our guests on the podcast this month Gareth Griffiths, Catherine Griffiths from Pobl i Bobl (People to People) a North Wales Charity who provide refugees in Greece, Lebanon and Turkey with clothes and help with the resettlement of refugees in Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey.  They are also linked to Amnesty International and Refugees for Anglesey.  They were joined for the interview by Abdullah who a refugee from the Syrian conflict currently living in North Wales.

Episode 4: Andy ‘Dime One’ Birch

In Episode 4 the group are in conversation with Andy 'Dime One' Birch, graffiti artist and workshop leader.  Andy speaks to the group about the rise of the graffiti phenomenon in the 80's and about his work as a workshop leader of which some of the group had first-hand experience.  It was a really interesting and funny chat, we are really grateful to Andy for coming in to catch up and we hope you enjoy listening as much as we did recording it.

Episode 3 - Tom Ellis

A bumper bonus May episode that the group sneaked in before next week's release of the Andy Birch episode.  The group talked to comic book author Tom Ellis creator of the 2Kill comic book series.  The group spoke to Tom about dressing up as giant bats, creativity in its many forms and his plans for future projects.
